Nearly three years after launching his epic circumnavigation of the globe, international celebrity Eddie Izzard - Comedian, Actor and Europhile is about to celebrate his unofficial comedy world record of performing in more than 29 countries (and in three languages) – from Moscow to the Hollywood Bowl – with sell out shows in London’s West End and 49 of the US states.
Eddie’s recent challenge is to bring FORCE MAJEURE to Spain and perform it completely in Spanish.
Renowned for his love of languages, this Autumn Eddie embarked on his first Spanish tour attempting to perform much of his show in Spanish. These very special performances offered a unique opportunity to witness Eddie’s work in progress as he attempts to master a new language. As with his French and German shows before, Eddie began this journey with a very basic grasp of the language and through his recent performances and the interaction from his Spanish audiences he continues to build up to performing the whole show in Spanish. Having enjoyed the last few months EDDIE has announced he will return to Barcelona to continue the process in January 2017
Watching Eddie perform at the Llantiol is a unique opportunity to witness the man referred to by Monty Python as ‘The Lost Python’ develop his critically acclaimed show Force Majeure especially for a Spanish audience.

EDDIE IZZARD, the man who turned talking ‘Bollocks’ into an art form has performed and sold–out Madison Square Garden in New York and became the first stand-up to play a solo show at the Los Angeles’ legendary Hollywood Bowl. He has performed at many of the major arena’s across the world as well as undertaking several residencies in both France and Germany performing his shows STRIPPED and FORCE MAJEURE in French and German.
